Leixlip Handball Club Membership

Leixlip Handball Club is a constituent of Leixlip GAA Club.

• Members of Leixlip Handball Club are, in the first instance, members of Leixlip GAA Club
  

• A prospective member of Leixlip Handball Club must, in the first instance, therefore, apply for membership and be accepted as a member of Leixlip GAA club. Application forms are available at the club foyer.

• Full members of Leixlip GAA Club have entitlement to Handball Club membership on application to the Handball Committee.

• Pavilion/Gym/Other members may apply for membership of the Handball Club and will have that application considered by reference to the following policy and criteria:

Leixlip Handball Club was established to promote handball within the community of Leixlip. Its priority has been and continues to be the development of youth handball within that community.

• A  member [pavilion/gym/other] who wishes to join Leixlip Handball Club and thereby have use of the handball facilities, will be expected to demonstrate that he/she is fully committed to the Handball Club objectives  and is willing to contribute to their attainment.
• He/she will also be expected to adhere fully to the ethos and operating principles of the club.

Leixlip Handball Club enjoys excellent relationships with neighbouring handball clubs. It encourages those seeking membership of a handball club to make application to their local club or to a club in their immediate vicinity. Application for membership of Leixlip Handball Club on the basis of any perceived advantages in areas such as competitive prospects, coaching structures, club facilities or otherwise is not encouraged.
